Bhubaneswar, 13 August (H.S.): Following the discovery of threatening graffiti near the southern side of the Srimandir’s Parikrama Marg, Puri Police have intensified their investigation and launched a special operation to trace the individual responsible for the act.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Pinak Mishra confirmed that the suspect involved in the incident has been preliminarily identified. “We have received information that the individual was seen moving around the area and was possibly writing something on the temple wall,” he stated.

Eyewitnesses have reportedly seen the suspect in the vicinity, although a clear identification has yet to be established. Authorities are relying on CCTV footage and local inputs to ascertain his exact identity and movements.

“Our special team is actively searching for the suspect. Once detained, we will conduct a thorough interrogation and provide detailed information,” SP Mishra assured.
