He emphasizes the risk of extreme rainfall (150-250 mm) in certain regions due to core low-pressure areas affecting southern and western districts.
Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) predicts extremely heavy rainfall in the northern parts of Hyderabad, including Medchal, Patancheruvu, Chandanagar, Miyapur, Gachibowli, Kukatpally, and Gajularamaram, with expected rainfall over 15 cm. Other areas may see 7-12 cm of rain. The HYDRAA commissioner mentioned increased rainfall intensity expected in the afternoon.
