Tamulpur (Assam), 13 August (HS): The Tamulpur district administration, in collaboration with the Tamulpur Municipality, organized a cleanliness drive at the district headquarters on Wednesday as part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations.

The initiative, led by District Commissioner Pankaj Chakraborty, covered key areas including the market square, Ghogra Chowk, and the Block Development Office. Superintendent of Police Digant Kumar Chaudhary, additional commissioners, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of the Revenue Board, the municipal head, and officials from various departments actively participated in the drive.

During the drive, the District Commissioner urged all departments to maintain cleanliness in their office premises and appealed to the public to dispose of waste responsibly, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for all.
