Akola, 09 July (HS):

The Regional Meteorological Centre has forecast rains up to July 15 in the Akola

district. The villagers near Poorna, Morna, Nirguna, Katepurna, Man Pathar,

Gautama, and other small rivers have been alerted. The water levels in these

rivers and nullahs have gone up.

The people have been

advised not to enter flood waters, water-filled underpasses, etc, and not to stand

under trees, and all other measures to prevent loss of life. They have also

been advised not to use a mobile phone during lightning.
