Minister Narendra Modi on receiving Brazil's highest civilian honor, 'The Grand

Collar of the National Order of the Southern Cross', on Wednesday, calling it a

great occasion for the whole nation. In

a tweet on social networking site X, Adityanath stated, Congratulations

to Hon. PM Shri @narendramodi Ji for receiving Brazil's highest national

accolade, 'The Grand Collar of the National Order of the Southern Cross'. This

renowned award recognizes your innovative leadership and tireless efforts to

develop India-Brazil ties through trust, collaboration, and common global

aspirations. The chief minister described the accolade as a proud moment

for all Indians and said it represents the growing global stature

of Bharat.

On

Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi received Brazil's highest civilian

accolade. Brazilian President Luiz Inacio

Lula da Silva bestowed the honor on PM Modi in recognition of his achievements

to improving bilateral ties and promoting India-Brazil collaboration on major

global platforms. This was the 26th international honor given on PM

Modi by a foreign government since taking office in May 2014.
