Lucknow,
26 July (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated on Saturday
that the Indian Army taught Pakistan a lesson in less than 22 minutes after the
Pulwama assault, demolishing terrorist camps and forcing the rouge nation to
surrender. Adityanath was addressing at the Vijay Diwas celebrations at Kargil
Shaheed Smriti Vatika. In Pulwama, Pakistani terrorism claimed the lives of 22
innocent tourists. The Indian Army required less than 22 minutes for teaching
Pakistan a lesson. He said they destroyed Pakistan's terrorist camps. Pakistan
sought sanctuary behind America when confronted with the Indian Army's bravery,
he claimed. India was battling on numerous fronts against a number of
countries, but Pakistan had no chance against India. According to the BJP
leader, Pakistan was eventually compelled to submit.
In
a press release, Adityanath warned against divisive politics, claiming that
some people were using casteism to splinter society. He explained that whenever
we succumb to such tendencies, we pay a high price. We don't lack
warriors, glory, or intellect, but at the time, some people divided the country
for their own gain, leading to its enslavement, he remarked.
Even
now, some political groups seek to divide.
Back then, divisiveness was our weakness. We must avoid division again. We must work
together to make Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat, strong and capable, Adityanath
remarked. The chief minister claimed that Pakistan imposed the 1999 Kargil War
on us.
Today
is a day dedicated to India's outstanding heroes. On this day, India stunned
the world by completing 'Operation Vijay' and humiliating Pakistan, he
remarked, expressing respect to the soldiers. Adityanath honored then-Prime
Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who, he claimed, moved decisively after
obtaining intelligence concerning infiltration, and praised his refusal to
surrender to any world force. He stated that Pakistan had to surrender and the
infiltrators had to depart. Adityanath and Mayor Sushma Kharkwal attended the
gathering to honour the families of martyrs.
