Dibrugarh (Assam), 26 July (HS): In a significant breakthrough, Duliajan police arrested three most wanted robbers in Dibrugarh district, police informed on Saturday. The trio had been evading arrest for a long time and were allegedly involved in several robbery cases reported in areas such as Biswanath Chariali and Jorhat.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Chandu Das and Ravi Das, both residents of Pubakarta village under Korai police station in Odisha’s Jajapur district and Desing Das, a resident of Duliajan.

During the operation, police seized a Pulsar motorcycle (OD-15 U-8115) from the accused. Following their arrest, police teams from Biswanath Chariali and Teok arrived in Duliajan to initiate further interrogation, as multiple cases were already registered against the trio in their respective jurisdictions.
