Jammu, 26 July (H.S.): MLAs and BJP senior leaders Sham Lal Sharma and Mohan Lal Bhagat, held a public darbar at the J&K BJP headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, here.

While listening to the public grievances, MLAs emphasized that the roads which were damaged due to the incessant rains, are causing great inconvenience to the people and should be repaired at the earliest. They also stressed for the regular electricity to the residential areas and especially to the special feeders for the PHE supplies at the water pumping stations.

Among other deputations, a deputation from Basant Nagar, Janipur requested for the repair of lanes and drains and street lights. Deputations from Top Sherkhania and Wazir Lane in Talab Tillo requested for the repair of street lights and the issuance of new street lights. A deputation from Raipur, Khairi requested for the start of e-buses from Jammu to Khairi. A deputation from Karan Nagar complained about frequent power cuts. A deputation from Bhalwal requested for the upgradation of the transformer.

A deputation from Dogra Hall requested for the repair of lanes and drains. A deputation presented a matter related to the Police Department. A deputation from Akhnoor requested for the installation of an ATM near Government Degree College. A deputation from Gho Manhasan requested for the restoration of under-repair link roads in the main town. A deputation from Lower Muthi raised requests for the installation of electric poles and construction of lanes and drains near Akalpur road.

A deputation from New Plots requested for the inclusion of left-out houses regarding the construction of lanes and drains. A deputation from Machine Domana presented a land related matter related to the Revenue Department. A deputation of All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference requested for the construction of new toilets in the conference building at Durga Nagar. A deputation from Raipur Bantalab requested for the construction of a road to the cremation ground near Bua Datti Mandir. A deputation from Hiranagar requested for the installation of new hand pumps.
