Delhi, 25 July (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday departed for the Maldives after the conclusion of the first leg of his two-nation.

PM Modi will visit Maldives on 25-26 July as a state guest of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, where he will celebrate the 60th Independence anniversary on July 26. This visit, which is PM Modi's third to the Maldives, emphasizes India’s commitment to strengthening ties with its maritime neighbour, aligned with India's 'Neighbourhood First' policy and Vision MAHASAGAR. Discussions will focus on the India-Maldives Joint Vision for a ‘Comprehensive Economic and Maritime Security Partnership.
