Delhi, 25 July (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the Jhalawar school mishap on Friday extending thoughts to affected students and their families during this time.

The Prime Minister’s Office posted on X:“The mishap at a school in Jhalawar, Rajasthan, is tragic and deeply saddening. My thoughts are with the affected students and their families in this difficult hour. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured. Authorities are providing all possible assistance to those affected: PM @narendramodi”

A government school building collapsed in Jhalawar district, Rajasthan, on Friday resulting in the deaths of four children and injuring 17 others. The incident occurred at Piplod Government School during morning prayers. Police reported that ten injured children were taken to Jhalawar, with three to four in critical condition.
