25 July (HS): On Friday, Samajwadi Party MP Akhilesh Yadav launched a stinging
attack on the BJP-led Uttar Pradesh government, accusing it of stalled
development projects in Kannauj and neglecting critical areas including as
education and health. Yadav promised
people that the Samajwadi Party's control will bring about radical change, with
a focus on the resurrection of delayed projects.
Yadav emphasized education as a crucial engine
of prosperity, accusing the BJP of attacking fundamental education
facilities. He urged party members and
educated youth to commit to educating village children who have been affected
by school closures. He accused the BJP
of hypocrisy and mismanagement, highlighting a recent event involving a BJP
minister to underscore governance concerns.
Yadav also accused election roll tampering and blasted the BJP for
failing to take responsibility, even in the face of power outages.
He
criticized the BJP's attempts to denigrate the Samajwadi Party and highlighted
the degradation of health facilities in Kannauj. Yadav, confident in electoral outcomes,
projected that the public will reject BJP policies.
