New Delhi, July 24(HS): A bench headed by Chief Justice B.R. Gavai of the Supreme Court has ordered a hearing on July 28 for a petition questioning the imposition of a deadline for 15-year-old petrol and 10-year-old diesel vehicles in Delhi-NCR that meet BS-6 standards.
During the hearing, the petitioner stated that the government cannot change the Supreme Court’s order. The petition argues that the government cannot impose a ban on the lifespan of BS-VI vehicles. It is necessary to clarify whether the old regulations will also apply to new technology vehicles that meet BS-VI standards.
