New Delhi, July 24(HS): Rahul Gandhi criticized the Election Commission regarding the special intensive revision of voter lists in Bihar, branding its actions as biased. He claimed the Commission is failing in its democratic duties, which poses a threat to democracy. He highlighted the alleged electoral fraud in Karnataka, asserting it reflects a broader strategy to manipulate voter lists across constituencies.

Gandhi pointed out that numerous new names have been added to the voter lists, with ages ranging from 45 to 65, raising concerns of electoral malpractice. He emphasized this irregularity was identified through a single constituency investigation. Gandhi warned that the Election Commission cannot evade accountability, vowing that Congress will intensively pursue this issue and hold responsible officials accountable.
