Delhi, 24 July (H.S.): A group of twenty-nine artists from Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal visited President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday, as part of the second edition of 'Kala Utsav 2025 - Artists in Residence Programme.' They stayed from July 14 to 24, showcasing Sohrai, Pattachitra, and Patua art forms.

The programme celebrates India's artistic traditions, emphasizing the importance of living art in preserving cultural identity. The President viewed an art exhibition created during the residency and appreciated the artists' contributions to traditional art, wishing them success in their future endeavors.
