Hardoi, 15 June (HS): World Elder

Abuse Awareness Day was organized in Vridhashram Allipur under the aegis of

District Legal Services Authority under the chairmanship of Additional District

Judge Bhupendra Pratap. On this occasion, legal awareness was given on the

subject of Maintenance of Parents and Rights of Senior Citizens Act 2007 and

NALSA Helpline Number 15100 and information was taken from the senior citizens

living in Vridhashram Allipur about their problems and it was said that keep

enthusiasm in your life and be happy and leave all worries and increase

interaction with the people living with you. Additional District Judge directed

the Manager Vridhashram Allipur to conduct yoga every morning and also made

them legally aware about Maintenance and wefare of Parents and Senior Citizen

2007 and NALSA Helpline 15100 and Social Welfare Officer Ramakant Patel gave

detailed information to the elderly about the government schemes being run for

senior citizens. On this occasion, Social Welfare Officer Ramakant Patel, Old

Age Home Allapur staff and District Legal Services Authority clerk Abhishek Awasthi

and the elderly living in Old Age Home Allapur were present.
