Tezpur (Assam), 15 June (HS): Assam's Public Health Engineering Minister Jayantamalla Barua alleged in Tezpur on Sunday that Gaurav Gogoi is a traitor. He should apologize to the people of Assam.

While talking to journalists after inaugurating the sewage treatment plant built by Tezpur Municipality, the minister said, The people of Assam are more attached to Rajputras. Sometimes they love the Rajputras more than the Chief Minister. My father was not a king, so perhaps the people do not trust me.

Regarding Gaurav Gogoi, he said, Gogoi has betrayed the country, but some media houses have not yet been able to accept this truth. The day the media understand this truth, the day Gaurav Gogoi's arrest will become easy.

Targeting the Congress, the minister said, Congress's love for Pakistan has been well known since independence. Now the people of Assam will have to review that history themselves.
