Ghaziabad, 15 June (HS): After

about five years, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra started on Sunday morning from

Kailash Mansarovar Bhawan in Indirapuram. Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer

Singh flagged off 50 pilgrims for Kailash Mansarovar on Sunday morning. On this

occasion, many dignitaries including Cabinet Minister Sunil Sharma, MP Atul

Garg, Acharya Pramod Krishnam, BJP's Metropolitan President Mayank Goyal were

present.

On this occasion, Tourism Minister

Jaiveer Singh said that this journey has started after 5 years and the batch of

Mansarovar pilgrims will keep leaving till August 25. He said that arrangements

have been made for the stay of 288 pilgrims in Kailash Mansarovar Bhawan

located in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. Apart from this, UPSTDC is looking after all

the arrangements. Instructions have been given that the pilgrims should not

face any problem and all the facilities should be made available to them before

time. He wished the first group good luck. He said that after returning from

there, they will be given a grant of one lakh rupees by the state government

within 90 days. For this, they will have to fill only one form.
