Guwahati, 15 June (HS): On the occasion of Father's Day, Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma paid tribute and best wishes to all fathers. Recalling the struggles and sacrifices of his father, he said that the suffering and sacrifice a father makes for his children is truly incomparable.

The Chief Minister wrote, It is our father who stands with us like a shadow at every turn of life. Father's guidelines were no less than a blessing in shaping my life. The values he instilled in me give me the strength to move forward courageously on the path of life today.

On this auspicious day, the Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to all fathers and paid his respects to them.
