Prayagraj, 15 June (HS): Four people died due to lightning strike in Sonvarsha village

of Bara police station area on Sunday. On receiving the information, police and

administrative officials reached the spot. Police has taken all the four bodies

in its custody and started legal proceedings. Deputy Commissioner of Police

Yamunanagar Vivek Chandra Yadav said that Virendra Vanvasi (35 years), his wife

Parvati (32 years) and two daughters Radha and Karishma, residents of Sonvarsha

village of Bara police station area, were sleeping in a hut. Late night

suddenly the weather changed and all these people died on the spot due to

lightning. Police team and administrative officials have reached the spot.

Assistant Police Commissioner Bara said that all the four bodies have been sent

for post-mortem after filling the Panchnama.
