- With the resolution of Developed India 2047, the workers took a pledge to give the best contribution in nation building
Guwahati, 15 June (HS): With the aim of realizing the resolution of Developed India 2047, more than 65 lakh workers of Bharatiya Janata Party have pledged to dedicate the best contribution of their lives to the nation on Sunday. This information was given by party spokesperson Ranjeev Kumar Sharma in a statement issued from the state BJP headquarters Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan.
Sharma said that from today the executive meetings of 433 Mandal Committees under 39 organizational districts of Assam Pradesh BJP have started. All the workers participating in these meetings are signing the Sankalp Patra with the aim of strengthening national unity, social harmony and brotherhood by rising above the country, religion, caste, language and regional discrimination.
The spokesperson said that BJP workers are not limited to political activities only, but are working in coordination and unity in building a corruption-free society. Party workers are also motivating common citizens to protect public property, maintain transparency and become responsible citizens.
He said that BJP workers will always be vocal against colonial mentality and family politics.
It is known that after the extended executive meeting of the state BJP held in Jorhat on May 21, it was decided that executive meetings will be held at the district and mandal level in the presence of in-charges appointed from the state. Under this, district executive meetings are being organized between May 28 and June 17 and mandal executive meetings between June 15 and June 25.
So far, executive meetings have been completed in many districts. State President and MP Dilip Saikia participated in the executive meetings of Charaideo, Udalguri, Sivasagar, Tamulpur, North Kamrup and Darang districts.
