New Delhi, June 13(HS): Amid rising tensions in the Middle East and weak global market trends, a decline was recorded in the domestic stock market during early trading on Friday, the last trading day of the week. Both indices of the stock market, Sensex and Nifty, continue to experience fluctuations. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) is trending down 769.20 points, or 0.94%, at the level of 80,922.77. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty is also trading down 233.30 points, or 0.94%, at the level of 24,654.90. A decline was recorded in the shares of all 30 companies included in the Sensex. The largest declines were observed in Kotak Mahindra Bank, Power Grid, Adani Ports, Tata Motors, Ultratech Cement, and Asian Paints. At the start of trading, at one point, the Sensex fell by 1,337.39 points to reach the level of 80,354.59, while the Nifty slipped by 415.2 points to reach 24,473 points.
Additionally, in the Asian stock market, South Korea's KOSPI, Shanghai SSE Composite, Japan's Nikkei 225, and Hong Kong's Hang Seng also remained in loss. The day before, on Thursday, the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 823 points at the level of 81,691.98. Meanwhile, the Nifty closed down 253.20 points at the level of 24,888.20.
