LIC has eased criteria by accepting government documents confirming the policyholder’s death as valid proof. Claimants can call 022-68276827 or reach out to the LIC helpline. Assistance is available at the nearest LIC branch, division office, or customer area. The company expressed deep sorrow for the losses and is dedicated to providing financial relief to the victims' families.
