Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Slams Congress for Politicizing Tragic Air Crash Incident

Bhubaneswar, 13 June (H.S.): Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has strongly criticized the Congress party for allegedly attempting to politicize the recent tragic air crash, accusing them of spreading misinformation and engaging in political vulturism at a time of national mourning.

In a sharp statement shared via social media, Pradhan said, Congress thrives and survives on spinning fake narratives. They tried to do it yet again yesterday, and that too when the entire nation is grieving. He expressed disappointment over the Congress party’s approach, urging them to show sensitivity and refrain from political opportunism during such a difficult time.

Clarifying the Centre’s swift response to the tragedy, the Minister stated that a formal inquiry into the incident has already been initiated in line with international protocols. In addition, the Government of India is setting up a high-level committee of experts to thoroughly examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.

He further added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Civil Aviation Minister have been actively engaged in supervising the rescue and relief operations on the ground. “All possible assistance is being provided to the victims and their families,” Pradhan assured.

Condemning the Congress party for allegedly misrepresenting a statement made by Home Minister Amit Shah, Pradhan said, “It is reprehensible how Congress is shamelessly milking this tragedy by distorting HM Shri Amit Shah’s statement. This is political vulture-ism of the highest degree.”

He accused the Congress leadership of having “no concern for the affected families, safety measures, or national crisis preparedness,” alleging that their actions were driven solely by “petty political interests.”
