district's in-charge minister Suresh Khanna inspected various wards of Lucknow

Municipal Corporation on Saturday. During the inspection, Minister Suresh

Khanna stressed on cleanliness in zone-1's Rani Laxmibai ward (near Aminabad

clock tower), zone-3's Daliganj, Niralanagar ward, Ayodhyadas second ward,

Faizullaganj second ward and Vivekanand Puri wards. During this, minister

Suresh, who seemed dissatisfied with the sewer cleaning, also scolded the zone

level officers of the Municipal Corporation.

laid special emphasis on cleaning of drains and sewers in the scorching heat.

He instructed the municipal corporation officials to use machines for cleaning

drains. Similarly, Minister Suresh Khanna did not seem happy to see the

condition of the municipal corporation parks. He instructed Mayor Sushma

Kharkwal to hold talks at the zone level and take necessary action to improve

the condition of the parks.

During the inspection programme,

Lucknow North Assembly MLA Dr. Neeraj Bora, Additional Municipal Commissioner

Lalit Kumar, Namrata Singh, GM Jalkal Kuldeep Singh, Chief Engineer (Civil)

Mahesh Verma, Chief Engineer (RR) Manoj Prabhat, Zonal Officer and other

officers and employees were present.
