Bhubaneswar, 14 June (H.S.): Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of Odisha on the auspicious occasion of ‘Raja’, a traditional festival that celebrates womanhood, nature, and Mother Earth.

Highlighting the cultural significance of the festival, he said, “Raja is a unique celebration of femininity, fertility, and the sanctity of the Earth. It reflects Odisha’s deep-rooted agrarian traditions and the reverence for nature and women.”

He added that the festival brings joy and festivity into people’s lives and helps strengthen the spirit of brotherhood in society. “On this special occasion, I offer prayers to Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath for happiness, prosperity, and harmony among all,” the Minister stated.
