Ayodhya, 14 June (HS): The

construction of the grand Ram temple of Ayodhya is going on. So far, Rs 1621

crore has been spent on the construction of this temple. About 80 percent of

the work of the temple has been completed. So far, Rs 1621 crore has been spent

to make the Ram temple divine and grand. In the financial year 2024-25, Rs 652

crore has been spent on other schemes including temple construction. A

statement of income and expenditure was presented in the trust meeting held at

Mani Ram Das's cantonment on June 7. In this, a detail of the expenditure

incurred on the construction of the temple was also presented. The construction

work of Ram temple in Ram Janmabhoomi complex has been completed. Apart from

this, the construction work of Pilgrimage Suvidha Kendra, Sapt Mandapam,

Pushkarni is also complete, now only finishing is going on. A rectangular

rampart is being built around the Ram temple. 20 percent of its construction

work is still left. Similarly, about 20 percent of the construction work of

Sheshavatar temple is also remaining. The construction of the temple was

started by PM Narendra Modi on August 5, 2020.

In the last four and a half

years, about 1200 crores have been spent on temple construction and more than

400 crores on other schemes. The construction of the entrance gate is going on

in the south direction of the temple complex. After this, the gate will be

constructed at gate number three. The museum, rest house and trust office

building are also to be constructed in the south direction. Apart from this,

the work of beautification of Ram Katha Museum located on the banks of Saryu is

going on continuously. The deadline for completion of all these construction

works has been fixed as April 2026. The Ram Mandir Trust has estimated a total

expenditure of Rs. two thousand crores in the construction of the temple and

other projects under construction in the complex.

Ram Mandir Trust has bought a total

of 10,433 square feet of land in the three months between March and May for Rs

1 crore 55 lakh 40 thousand 800. A total of 3060 square feet of land has been

bought in Bagh Bijesi for Rs 47 lakh 20 thousand 800. In Bagh Bijesi itself,

the trust has bought 6691 square feet of land from Vishwa Mohini for Rs 98 lakh

20 thousand 800. Apart from this, 68.74 square feet of land has been bought in

Kot Ramchandra for Rs 10 lakh.
