New Delhi, June 13 (H.S): An Air India flight AI-379 from Phuket to New Delhi received a bomb threat on Friday, prompting an emergency landing in Thailand. All 156 passengers were safely evacuated from the aircraft, and an initial search found no bomb onboard. A Thai airport official indicated that emergency protocols were activated, but AOT did not elaborate on the threat itself. Air India has not commented on the incident. The flight, which took off at 9:30 AM (GMT), deviated over the Andaman Sea before landing in Thailand. This event follows a recent Air India crash near Ahmedabad, where 241 of 242 passengers lost their lives shortly after takeoff.
