Guwahati, 1 June (HS): Achieving a major success under Operation 'Ghost SIM', the Special Task Force (STF) Assam has arrested another prime accused in STF Thana Case No. 02/2025.

Police said on Sunday that on Saturday night, a joint team of STF Assam and Dhubri District Police took action and arrested Mostafa Rahman (29).

This action was taken on the basis of input provided by Gajraj Military Intelligence.

The materials seized during the operation include a laptop, two mobile phones, three micro ATM machines, a biometric device, six ATM cards, 11 voter ID cards, one Aadhaar card and one PAN card.

With this arrest, the total number of accused arrested so far in 'Operation Ghost SIM' has gone up to 11. Interrogation of the accused is going on.
