Aligarh,

01 June (HS): A faculty member at Aligarh College has been accused of sending

improper texts to students. Students and

political organizations demanded action, which led to his suspension. Police

have filed a complaint and taken the accused's phone as evidence for further

investigation. Aligarh College is

involved in scandal when a staff member was accused of sending indecent texts

to female students. This concerning

episode has fueled calls for responsibility and justice among students and

political groups. Shajruddin, the accused, has been suspended for two months by

Varshney Degree College awaiting an internal investigation. Despite the college's prompt reaction,

students, supported by the BJP Yuva Morcha and the ABVP, have expressed

dissatisfaction with the police's alleged delays in responding to the

complaint.

This

commotion led to a demonstration on the college campus. The police have verified that a complaint has

been filed, and the accused's mobile phone has been impounded for further

investigation. MS Pathak, Additional

Superintendent of Police, said that evidence, including phone records, will be
