Goalpara (Assam), 1 June (HS): A wanted motorcycle thief Aftarul Islam alias Aashiq Iqbal has been arrested during a search operation conducted by Basishtha police in Dubapara area of Marnoi police station area. He is the son of Asraf Ali and a resident of Village Rakhyashani Garopada Part-II, Police Station Marnoi, District Goalpara.

Police have recovered the stolen Yamaha FZ motorcycle from his possession. Apart from this, an Oppo mobile handset has also been seized. Further action is underway in the case.---------------
