01 June (HS): Pradeep Yadav alias Guddu, Pradhan of village Asebta of Ajitmal

tehsil of the Aurraiya district and District President of Pradhan Sangh, died

on Sunday morning in Saifai Medical College. On Saturday evening, he consumed

poisonous substance outside the village. When his condition deteriorated, he

was first taken to the local hospital. In critical condition, the doctors

referred him to Saifai Medical College. He died while undergoing treatment on Sunday.

Yadav was the district president of Yuvajan Sabha Samajwadi Party. He was

considered close to SP leader Shivpal Yadav. Local people have maintained

silence on the reasons for his death. There is a wave of mourning in the entire

district due to this incident.
