Ranchi, 23 February (HS): The budget session of Jharkhand Assembly will start from February 24 and will continue till March 27. During this time, prohibitory orders will be in force around the assembly premises, under which any kind of procession, rally, demonstration and siege will be prohibited within a radius of 750 meters of the assembly premises (except the court premises).

The budget session of the state assembly is starting from February 24. Prohibitory orders have been issued during the assembly session in view of security. Sadar SDO Utkarsh Kumar, using the powers conferred under section 163 of BNSS, has issued an order to impose prohibitory orders within a radius of 750 meters of the Jharkhand Assembly premises (except the High Court premises).

The SDO said on Sunday that this prohibitory order will be in force from 8 am on February 24 to 10 pm on March 27. He said that during this time, gathering or walking of five or more people at one place, carrying any type of arms, guns, rifles, revolvers, pistols, bombs, gunpowder, weapons like sticks, arrows, bows, axes, spears etc. will be prohibited. Also, using any type of loudspeaker will be prohibited.
