Lucknow,

21 Feb (HS): The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) welcomes the Uttar

Pradesh Government’s 2025-26 budget. The allocation of Rs.1.06 lakh crore to

the education sector will play a crucial role in strengthening the state's

education system.

The budget focuses particularly on women's education, smart

classrooms, digital education, skill development, and infrastructure expansion,

which will enhance the quality of education in both rural and urban areas of

the state. ABVP believes that through this budget, new milestones will be

achieved in the field of education in the state.

Initiatives such as upgrading

680 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas, establishing 57 Chief Minister's Model

Composite Schools, and promoting smart education with a provision of Rs.580

crore will greatly benefit primary and secondary education.

An allocation of Rs.

600 crore for higher education and Rs. 666 crore for secondary education will

further strengthen the state's educational framework. Additionally, the

provision for the development of the infrastructure of state universities, the

establishment of Centers of Excellence, the creation of Khelo India centers in

every district, and the Rani Laxmibai Scooty Scheme for encouraging female

students are also part of this budget, providing students with holistic

development opportunities.

The

specific provision for the health sector by the Uttar Pradesh Government is

also commendable. The establishment of new autonomous medical colleges in

Ballia and Balrampur, alongside the expansion of medical education and

healthcare services in rural areas, will enhance the state's healthcare system.

This will not only improve health services but also create new employment

opportunities in the health sector.

ABVP’s

National Secretary, Shri Ankit

Shukla, said, “The budget presented by the Uttar

Pradesh Government is a significant step toward empowering youth in the fields

of education and healthcare. This budget outlines the state's meaningful

contribution to India’s holistic development. The government has placed special

emphasis on education and healthcare. This budget will help boost skill

development and employment opportunities for the youth.

In particular, the

effective implementation of the scheme to provide employment to over 92,000

young people will pave the way for the state's progress and a bright future for

its youth. ABVP is hopeful that the government will promptly implement the

plans outlined in this budget, contributing to India’s goal of becoming a

developed nation by 2047 with Uttar Pradesh’s comprehensive efforts.
