Kolkata, 22 February (H.S.): With the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections approaching, political discussions have gained momentum. In this context, Prateek Jain, a key member of the election strategy firm I-PAC, recently met with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. According to sources, the meeting focused on electoral strategies, although no official statement has been released.
TMC sources indicate that the party has set a target of winning over 250 seats in the upcoming assembly elections. To achieve this, the party has already begun working on its strategy. Mamata Banerjee has instructed party members to strengthen the organization and devise a comprehensive election plan. Political analysts believe that her meeting with Prateek Jain was centered around these preparations.
Despite maintaining its association with I-PAC for strategic advice, the final decisions within the TMC remain in Mamata Banerjee’s hands. A senior party leader stated that any organizational changes would be made solely at her discretion. The discussions with I-PAC likely revolved around campaign strategies, voter outreach, and countering the opposition.
Sources suggest that the TMC is already gearing up for 2026, with party workers mobilizing under Banerjee’s directives. The party chief has been vocal about her confidence in securing 250 seats, making this strategy meeting with I-PAC highly significant.
