Prayagraj,

21 Feb (HS): Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma along with his wife Riniki

Bhuiyan Biswa Sarma, son Nandil Biswa Sarma, daughter Sukanya Biswa Sarma

arrived at Kumbh Mela. They took a holy dip in the Sangam in the holy presence

of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Adhokshajananda Devtirth Ji Maharaj and wished

for the happiness and prosperity of the people of Assam and the nation.

Maha Yagya is being organized since Basant Panchami in the

Shankaracharya camp of Govardhan Math Puri on Harshvardhan Marg in Sector 18 of

Kumbhnagar. A large number of devotees are offering sacrifices in the Maha

Yagya here every day under the supervision of learned Acharyas. On this

occasion, Shankaracharya Adhokshajananda Devtirth said that politicians should

follow the path of religion.

If politics is done in accordance with religion,

then public welfare starts happening automatically. Walking on the path of

religion inspires one to take everyone along. Expressing gratitude towards

Shankaracharya, the Assam CM said that his thoughts are inspiring. “Shankaracharya

Swami Adhokshajanand Devtirtha's contribution in the development of Sanatan

culture is important,” he added.
