NEW DELHI, 21 February (H.S.) : In a video from the event,
PM Modi was seen entering with Sharad Pawar and helping him sit on a chair on
the stage while the audience clapped. The PM then offered water to
Sharad Pawar as the two settled comfortably in their seats.
The
scene seen in the All-India Marathi Sahitya Sammelan organized in Delhi has
created a stir in the political circles. The conversation between Prime
Minister Narendra Modi and senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP-SP) leader
Sharad Pawar has now become a topic of discussion. The Pictures of the meeting
and conversation between PM Modi and Sharad Pawar are going viral on social
media. It is also being said that this meeting between two veteran leaders of
the country's politics will definitely prick the heart of the opposition alliance
leader Congress like a thorn.

invitation of Sharad ji. Marathi language is sweeter than nectar. 100 years ago,
a Marathi speaking man had sown the seed of RSS. I am fortunate that lakhs of
people like me have inspired me to live for the country and it is because of
the Sangh that I got the privilege of connecting with Marathi”.

Marathi Sahitya Sammelan, PM Modi gave a shout-out to ‘Chhaava’ — a film based
on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj — and said that the movie is
“making its waves throughout the country these days. Praising Maharashtra’s
contribution to the film industry, the Prime Minister said that the state has
given a new height to Marathi and Hindi film industries.
This
meeting of Sharad Pawar and Narendra Modi can create political discomfort for
Congress. Some factions of NCP had already expressed doubts about its closeness
to BJP, and now this picture has given further fuel to those speculations.Political experts believe that the conversation
between Pawar and Modi was not limited to just the Sahitya Sammelan.
Considering the constantly changing equations in Maharashtra politics and the
upcoming election strategies, this meeting cannot be taken lightly.
