Chennai, 21 February (H.S.): DRDO South Zone Volley ball Tournament for the year 2024-25 was conducted by CVRDE at Bharathiyar Nagar Ground (CVRDE Quarters Avadi, Chennai) during 17-19 Feb 2025. Total 11 teams have participated in the volleyball tournament and the teams NPOL, Kochi & ADE, Bangalore have secured the Winners & Runners up position respectively.

According to PIB, the DRDO All India Inter Zone Volleyball Tournament was also organized by CVRDE at Bharathiyar Nagar Ground (CVRDE Quarters Avadi, Chennai) from 20 – 21 Feb 2025. Total 4 teams (viz. North Zone, South Zone, Central Zone & West Zone) have participated in this tournament and the teams South Zone & Central Zone have secured the Winners & Runners up position respectively.

ShriJ.Rajesh Kumar, OS & DIRECTOR CVRDE graced the inaugural function and Dr.V. Balamurugan, OS & Asso. Director, CVRDE attended the valedictory function of both the tournaments. CVRDE Sports council along with 22nd Works committee of CVRDE have made all the arrangements.
