Mumbai, 21 February (HS): In the 'India's Got Latent' show controversy case, Maharashtra Cyber Cell on Friday summoned controversial film actress Rakhi Sawant to record her statement on 27 February. Rakhi Sawant has also been a part of the 'India's Got Latent' show as a judge. Similarly, YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia has been summoned again today and has been called to record his statement on 24 February.
According to the Cyber Cell, Ashish Chanchlani, who was a part of the panel with Ranveer, has also been summoned on 24 February. Similarly, Maharashtra Cyber Cell had summoned Samay Raina and asked him to appear on 18 February, but he did not appear before them. After this, Maharashtra Cyber Cell again summoned Samay Raina on Thursday and asked him to appear soon. Maharashtra Cyber Cell is questioning more than 42 people in this case.
After YouTuber-podcaster Ranveer Allahabadia's obscene comment on the show 'India's Got Latent', Samay Raina removed all the episodes of the show from YouTube. The Supreme Court had banned the podcaster and his associates from broadcasting any show on YouTube or other platforms till further notice.
A few days ago, Samay Raina wrote on the social media platform X, It is very difficult for me to handle everything that is happening. I have removed all the videos of 'India's Got Latent' from my channel. My only intention was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all the agencies to ensure that their investigation is completed impartially.
