Guwahati, 21 February (HS): Advantage Assam 2.0 organized by the Assam government under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will bring new possibilities of development in the state and it is the responsibility of every worker of Bharatiya Janata Party to spread this message to the people. This was said by BJP state president Dilip Saikia on Friday in a meeting of the state BJP's media, social media, IT, economic, commerce, policy and research departments, party spokespersons and panelists.

An investment of more than ₹2 lakh crore is expected in Advantage Assam 2.0. Leading national and international business institutions, companies and leading entrepreneurs of India will participate in it. The event will be held on 25 and 26 February, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Jhoomer Binandini program by 10,000 Jhumar artists at Sarusajai Stadium on the evening of 24 February.

In the meeting, the state BJP president called upon all the departments and cells to play an active role in this event and to widely spread the importance of Advantage Assam 2.0 to the public. BJP state general secretary Pallav Lochan Das, Dipluranjan Sharma, Pulak Gohain and other senior leaders were present on this occasion. The meeting was conducted by the state's chief spokesperson Manoj Barua.
