Guwahati, 05 December (HS): An Assam youth killed after being hit by a vehicle while he was standing on the roadside in Goa. The tragic incident, which occurred, was captured on a nearby CCTV camera, Assam police PRO informed today.

Police said that the victim has been identified as Mukutjyoti Bora, who had gone to Goa around six months ago in search of work. According to officials, the youth was standing beside the road when a speeding vehicle suddenly rammed into him, causing fatal injuries.

Local authorities have begun investigating the case and the CCTV footage is being examined to trace the vehicle involved. The body has been sent for post-mortem and efforts are underway to inform the family in Assam.--------
