
Varanasi, 4 Dec (HS): The second group of teachers'
delegation from South India arrived at Varanasi Railway Station by special
train for the Kashi Tamil Sangamam-4.0 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Upon landing
at the station, the guests were given a grand welcome with traditional drum
playing, flower showers, and chants of Har Har Mahadev and
Vanakkam Kashi. Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dayashankar
Mishra Dayalu, Varanasi Mayor Ashok Tiwari, Metropolitan President
Pradeep Agrahari, and numerous BJP workers were present at the welcome
ceremony.
The Tamil delegation was
thrilled by the traditional welcome at the station. Mani, a Tamil national,
said that the warmth and spiritual atmosphere he experienced in Kashi was
unforgettable. The sound of the drum beats filled the entire complex with
Shiva, clearly demonstrating the cultural unity of Kashi and Tamil Nadu.
Today visit to Kashi
Vishwanath: According to the program's scheduled schedule, these delegates from
Tamil Nadu will visit and worship at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham today.
Afterward, they will visit the banks of the Ganges, the ghats, and the city's
major cultural and educational sites. Organizing committee members stated that
special programs have been prepared to introduce the guests to Kashi's rich
heritage, art, culture, and spirituality.
