Guwahati, 04 December (HS): Bashistha Police have arrested three persons involved in a series of theft incidents across different parts of the Guwahati city.

Police said on Thursday that acting on a tip-off, a special operation was launched during which a gang of three accused, suspected to be behind several thefts in Guwahati, was apprehended.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Abdul Latif and Atikur Rahman, both residents of Hajo in Kamrup Rural district and Makibul Islam alias F Muku of Dakshin Gaon of Guwahati.

Police have seized a vehicle allegedly used by the accused for committing the crimes. A case has been registered and the trio is being interrogated for further leads.
