
Mumbai, 31 Dec (HS): Not happy with the alliance with Maharashtra
Navnirmal Sena (MNS), hundreds of UBT Sena workers resigned from various posts
they held. UBT leader Sanjay Raut said those who were working for tickets only
left the party. It will not affect the party.
UBT Sena workers expressed discontent over rejection
of their applications for the Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections. Many
wards dominated by UBT Sena, including Worli, Parel, Vikhroli etc experience
discontent of the party workers in large numbers. Many party workers who have
been working with dedication in their respective wards have been denied
tickets. Many of them filed nomination papers as an independent candidates.
Sanjay Raut said that similar discontent was
observed in all the political parties, and is not wrong. But the party can not
rely on those who are working for the tickets only.
