Adityanath paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Mahant Ramdas at the Madaria
Siddhapeeth in the Gola tehsil area on Wednesday. Paying homage to Mahant
Ramdas, the Chief Minister said that Sanatan Dharma is a religion for the
welfare and salvation of human life. Mahant Ramdas remained dedicated to the
Sanatan and Vedic traditions throughout his life.
Ramdas, the Mahant of Madaria Siddhpeeth, passed
away recently. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who was on a visit to Gorakhpur
on Wednesday, reached the Siddhpeeth and offered flowers of respect on his
picture. Addressing the condolence meeting organized on this occasion, the
Chief Minister said that Mahant Ramdas dedicated his entire life to the service
of the Sanatan tradition. He had a deep association with Gorakhpeeth for five
decades. CM Yogi said that a few years ago, during his visit to Madaria Siddhpeeth,
he had received the physical company of Mahant Ramdas.
The Chief Minister said that Mahant ji's
contribution in taking the Vedic tradition forward will always be remembered.
He always inspired people to have faith in Sanatan values and India. The
Chief Minister expressed hope that the current Mahant Shrishadas of Madaria
Siddhpeeth will follow in the footsteps of his revered Gurudev and continue to
serve Sanatan in accordance with his values and ideals. Before paying tribute
to Mahant Ramdas, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed puja at Madaria
Siddhpeeth as per the rituals. On this occasion, Chillupar MLA Rajesh Tripathi,
BJP leaders Harikesh Ram Tripathi, Amardeep Tripathi, Manish Nayak and a large
number of devotees associated with Madaria Siddhpeeth were present.
Gorakhpeethadhiswar paid tribute to Panchanan Puri
and gave his blessings to the new Mahant: Before Madaria, Gorakshapeethadhiswar
and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Chachairam Math in the Uruwa
area to pay tribute to the late Mahant Panchanan Puri. Puri passed away on
November 16. He had a deep connection to the Gorakshapeetha. At the Chachairam
Math, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered flowers to the portrait of the
late Mahant Panchanan Puri and paid his heartfelt tribute. The
Gorakshapeethadhiswar blessed the newly appointed young Mahant of the
Chachairam Math, Pranav Puri, draped him with a robe, and during a cordial
conversation, assured him of all possible support in managing the Math. On this
occasion, the Chief Minister also met with devotees associated with the Math
and local residents, inquiring about their well-being. Chillupar MLA Rajesh
Tripathi, Khajani MLA Shriram Chauhan, BJP District President Janardan Tiwari,
and a large number of local people were present.
