New Delhi, 3 December (H.S.): Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal described the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) bypoll results as positive for his party on Wednesday, thanking Delhi voters for reposing faith in AAP's dedicated workers just 10 months after setbacks.

In an X post, Kejriwal noted that the electorate's mandate demonstrates strengthening public support for AAP, signaling a return to positive politics and good governance in the capital. AAP retained its three previous seats—Mundka (Anil Lakda), Naraina (Rajan Arora), and Dakshin Puri (Ram Swaroop Kanojia)—while BJP won seven out of 12, down from nine earlier.

The November 30 bypolls, with 38.51% turnout, saw BJP claim victories in Shalimar Bagh-B (Anita Jain), Greater Kailash (Anjum Mandal), Ashok Vihar (Veena Asija), Chandni Chowk (Suman Kumar Gupta), Vinod Nagar (Sarla Choudhry), Dwarka-B (Manisha Rajpal Sahrawat), and Dichaon Kalan (Rekha Rani).
