Majuli (Assam), 03 December (HS): Ferry services across Majuli remained severely affected on Wednesday due to dense fog, with visibility dropping to unsafe levels for navigation.

Officials said that no ferry has been able to operate since morning as the thick fog made it impossible to sail safely. The situation has also halted operations on the Majuli–Ophalemukh route, leaving commuters stranded on both sides.

Authorities are monitoring weather conditions and will resume services once visibility improves.------
