Diwas' by Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture Technology And Sciences,

Prayagraj at the Yeshu Darbar church premises. The grand event witnessed the

participation of a large number of members from the Christian community and

believers of the Lord.

The

ceremony commenced with a prayer, followed by a heart-touching jhaki presented

by the children of Ethel Higginbottom School and Yeshu Darbar Sunday School.

The children brought to life the scenes of the birth of Lord Jesus in

accordance with Biblical verses. During the program, students enthralled the

audience with devotional songs and dances, including Yehovah Raja

Hai, Aisa Pyara Masih Hamara Aaya Hai, and Yeshu Aaya

Hai, Mukti Saath Laaya Hai.

the gathering SHUATS VC and Bishop of Yeshu Darbar, Professor (Dr.) Rajendra B.

Christmas is not merely a festival, but the union of God with humanity. Lord

Jesus took human form to bridge the distance between God and man. He further

emphasized that the Lord's message is to conquer evil with goodness. He taught

to forgive those who persecute us and to pray for enemies so that we may become

true children of the Almighty.

Bishop

Lal noted that Jesus Christ is a 'Yugpurush' (Man of the Epoch) who divided the

timeline of history into two eras—B.C. (Before Christ) and A.D. (Anno Domini).

He stressed that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is not limited but is for the

welfare and salvation of the entire human race. Concluding his message, Dr. Lal

remarked that the culture of India is one of spiritual seeking. He called upon

everyone that by accepting the Lord with a true heart, one can enter the path

of salvation and eternal life.
