21 Dec (HS): Minister of State for AYUSH, Food Safety and Drug Administration,

Government of Uttar Pradesh (Independent Charge) Dr. Dayashankar Mishra arrived

at the Bhartendu Harishchandra Udyan in Maidagin, Varanasi, on Sunday morning.

He cordially met and interacted with the residents of Kashi who had come for a

morning walk. Upon meeting old friends at the Bhartendu Harishchandra Udyan,

Minister Dr. Dayashankar shared a sense of belonging with them, enjoying

traditional chuda-matar (chickpeas).

His

friends and colleagues expressed their delight at having Dr. Dayashankar Mishra

among them, saying, We call Dr. Dayashankar Mishra, an old friend of ours

from Varanasi, Dayashankar Mishra, who often comes to visit us. He also shares

morning tea and refreshments with us. Today, he ate Banaras chuda matar with

all of us, reliving old memories of Maidagin Square.
