Nagaon (Assam), 02 December (HS): A man allegedly killed his mother-in-law in the Juria police station area of Nagaon district, police said on Tuesday.

According to officials, the woman killed on the spot after her son-in-law attacked her with a sharp weapon at their residence in Juria. The deceased has been identified as Jaheda Khatun.

Police have arrested the accused, identified as Hamed Ali and recovered the weapon used in the crime. A case of murder has been registered, and the accused is being interrogated for further details.
