Patna , 15 December (H.S.):

Bihar's Public Works Department Minister and newly appointed BJP National Working President Nitin Nabin described his elevation on Monday as a profound blessing from the party, expressing gratitude to the leadership for entrusting him with the pivotal role succeeding JP Nadda.

Speaking to reporters after paying floral tributes to a statue of his late father, Nabin Kishor Prasad Sinha — a three-term BJP MLA from Patna West and key architect of the party's early growth in Bihar who passed away in 2006 — Nabin pledged to advance his father's unfinished organizational mission.

The emotional homage took place at Naveen Sinha Park in Patna's Rajvanshi Nagar, a site dedicated to the senior leader's memory.

The 45-year-old five-term MLA from Bankipur, who also oversees Urban Development and Housing portfolios in Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's cabinet, hailed the appointment as recognition for a small worker with grassroots roots.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Nabin on X, praising his young, industrious leadership, rich organisational experience, and humble nature as vital for strengthening the BJP ahead of future challenges.

Nabin's swift ascent signals the BJP's strategic youth infusion and eastern India focus, blending administrative prowess from multiple ministerial stints with proven electoral success.
